Good morning everyone,
War rages on as “peace talks” are supposedly happening. While we all anxiously hold our breath, waiting for what is next, I thank you all for donating to my fundraiser. Together we raised over $7K for Ukraine. It is possible that we have found a way to double our impact through a full match. That would mean that together we raised $14k. Un. Freaking. Believable.
Before I go, I want to tell you that during times of insane uncertainty, it really helps to just do something. Anything. Each and every single one of you has something that you can contribute for a greater net positive. You could:
donate money generously, as so many of you already did
raise awareness, by posting on your social channels
help those who are sending packages to the Ukraine (here is one in Brooklyn)
donate time, by attending peaceful protests and demonstrations
donate kindness, by reaching out to friends and family in Ukraine or of Ukrainian descent and checking on them
sign up as a volunteer translator if you speak Russian or Ukrainian to help refugees
In times of darkness, there is always an opportunity to rise to the occasion and to do good. So, do good. Be the best version of yourself and use every chance you get to make the world just a little bit better.
With gratitude,
Jane
